Clock Radio

This project was done as the final project for my Electrical and Computer Engineering Design class in my second year.

Design problem: Use the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller to design and manufacture a PCB for an alarm Clock Radio. The final prototype must contain user interfaces as well as an FM radio receiver. An enclosure was also designed to look like a "bear," following the animals' theme.

Solution: Along with a team member, we made specific design choices on the user interfaces to use, we chose to used push buttons for input and an OLED display for output. We also chose to use the RDA5807M radio module connecting that to an amplification circuit to amplifier the audio output.

Role: I was tasked with the job to make the individual and complete circuit schematics, design the PCB (and get it manufactured), assemble the prototype (by soldering all the components onto the PCB) and provide documentation for the entire process.
